What HAPN is
HAPN is a free guide to what's happening near you: concerts and live music, festivals, farmers markets, family and kids' activities, library and park programs, sports, arts, food and drink, faith and community gatherings, and volunteer opportunities. HAPN covers 479 cities across the United States, and every city page shows events within a set distance of the city, sorted by date.
Where the events come from
- Listings come from public, official sources: organizers' and venues' own websites, public library and parks calendars, visitor bureaus, universities and other community calendars. Each event links back to its source so you can confirm details.
- Local businesses, churches, nonprofits and venues can claim their free listing and keep it up to date.
- Event lists are refreshed regularly, and events that have ended drop off automatically.
Keeping it useful and safe
- Every event is screened for hateful, violent or scam content, and anyone can report an event. See our Community Guidelines.
- Details can change. Always confirm dates, times and prices with the organizer before you go.
How HAPN is free
HAPN is free for everyone looking for things to do. It's supported by advertising (Google AdSense) and by optional upgrades for local businesses. Ads are always labeled, and paid placements are marked.
